Dell Inspiron 7000 Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals 2021
Two-in-one pcs come in all different shapes and sizes. Some of them are more like laptops while others are more like tablets, and not all of them managed to deliver the best of both worlds. The new Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series two and one might not be the slimmest or lightest option around. Still, it’s trying to be versatile enough for both work and entertainment. The Inspiron 13 7000 to n1 has a dark grey metal body and looks quiet, so the only real design flair is the chamfered edge around the lid and the trackpad, which is also quite subtle. The cover folds back so that you can use this to anyone as a tablet or prop it up on a table in tent mode the keyboard deactivates.
There’s no bending or flexing when the device is folded over. Backward Dell claims that the Inspiron 13 7000 – has narrow screen borders, but this is no stylish XPS series laptop. It’s only the sides that feel narrower than usual they’re spaced up top for a webcam as well as an infrared sensor for Windows Hello face recognition, and there’s an enormous chin below it. The 13.3-inch screen has a resolution of 1920 by 1080, making it pretty crisp colours are slightly muted, but photos and videos generally look quite good.
There are all the usual media shortcuts. Through levels of backlighting, the trackpad is large and very easy to use with a satisfying mechanical clip just like with most – and ones of this type, and you can use the Inspiron 13 7000 in various positions. Still, it’s a little too heavy to be used as a tablet unless you’re sitting or lying down we did find that the edges of the keyboard deck were a bit too rough, and we could feel this much more.
USB Type-C 3.1
When handling the device in tablet mode, the Inspiron 13 two and one is thick enough to have plenty of useful ports. On the left, there’s the power Inlet, a USB type-c 3.1 open port and HDMI to port the standard USB 3.1 available port, and a combo audio socket. On the right, there’s a security slot, another USB 3.1 port, and an SD card slot. There’s also dual-band Wi-Fi AC and Bluetooth 4.0. Our review unit has an 8th gen Intel Core i7 8550 u processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512 GB solid-state drive for storage performance was pretty good across the board, and we had no trouble playing media files streaming, and browsing the web.
Our benchmark tests showed that you could do pretty much anything except heavy 3d gaming. While he didn’t get too hot or uncomfortable in use, we could hear the fan spin up and the whoosh of hot air being pushed out the back when anything heavy was running. Battery life was just about ok we were able to get around 7 hours of continuous everyday use.
